Above is the Mission Statement from the FedEx Investor Relations website.  I am not sure what the official Vision Statement is, but the following statement is found on the FedEx website under about FedEx, Our Company:

Selecting FedEx Corporation for MGT 656 Company Blog project

Well, the project info did recommend a large publicly traded company, so I opened the Wall Street Journal's Money and Investing section and started browsing stock symbols in the New York Stock Exchange listings.  I chose one that I don't feel I have too much bias for or against already as far as personal loyalty as a consumer, or from positive/negative images from news articles I can recall.
